In reference to the elaborate floral designs that are typical of this kind of cloth, the word "Jamdani" stems from the Persian words "Jam" (flower) and "Dani" (vase). Handwoven on a brocade loom from the finest cotton, Jamdani sarees epitomize elegance and grace. Currently, Jamdani extends to a wide range of sarees and designs that may give you the regal feel of elegance. Muslin is an extremely lightweight sheer fabric made by plain weaving.
